Young Church

We greatly value young people at St Lawrence Church, Eastcote, and want them to feel a full part of our church family. All are welcome at our services.

​

For primary school aged children, our popular Young Church sessions run alongside our 10am services every Sunday in term time, except for weekends when we have our special Messy Church Family celebrations, usually on Saturday evenings.

​

Sessions are planned by Young Church leaders and led by them with a great team of regular volunteers. We follow the same themes and teachings as in the adult service, using child centred Bible readings followed by themed craft / game activities to take home. Children are encouraged to explore and discuss ideas as a group in a supportive family style atmosphere.

Children begin the service in church with their family before moving to the Young Church session shortly afterwards. They return again to the main service after the session for Communion / a blessing with their family, and will often excitedly share what they have done with the congregation!​​

  • Sunday 30th March, Mothering Sunday, All Age Service# with Confirmations  

  • Good Friday, 18th April, Messy Church Family celebration Easter Crafts at 10am in our Church Hall

  • Sunday 20th April, All Age Easter Sunday Service#

  • Sunday 27th April

  • Sunday 4th May

  • Sunday 11th May

  • Saturday 17th May, Messy Church Family celebration at 5:30pm in our Church Hall

  • Sunday 8th June

  • Sunday 15th June

  • Saturday 21st June, Messy Church Family celebration at 5:30pm in our Church Hall

  • Sunday 29th June

  • Sunday 6th July

  • Sunday 13th July

  • Sunday 20th July, followed by family picnic.​

​*Dates for Young Church were correct when this information was edited on this website on 28/03/2025. However, they may be subject to change, or cancellation, depending on the availability of our Young Church leaders and their team of regular volunteers.

#When 'All Age Service' is shown, children who usually attend Young Church are welcome to remain in church with their family for the whole of the service.
