75 Trees for 75 Years!

One way of celebrating and marking the 75th Anniversary of St Lawrence Church was the launch of the “75 Trees for 75 Years” project in October 2008.  This project encouraged individuals, or groups of people, from the Church or local community to plant a favourite tree in either private or public land.  The Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr Brian Crowe, planted the first tree of the project, an Acer pseudoplatanus Brilliantisimum, in front of the parish centre following the 10.00am Parish Eucharist on Sunday 12th October.
