Bereavement

"Jesus said, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.'"

John 11:25-26

"The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him."

Nahum 1:7

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

Psalm 23:4

The death of someone close to you can leave you feeling very lonely and with a variety of conflicting emotions.

Many bereaved people find it helpful to have someone to talk to someone with whom they can share their feelings in strict confidence.

St Lawrence Church has a team of people especially trained as Bereavement Visitors to help people in this way.

If you would like to speak to someone, please contact Regula Sharp or any member of the Ministry Team.
